Asus today launched their new flagship smartphone in the form 6Z. It has some unique set of features like motorized rotating camera. So in this article let's take a look at the price in India & Specifications of the Asus 6Z.

Asus 6Z is priced in India at Rs.31,999 for the 6GB RAM /64 GB Storage. While the 6GB RAM /128 GB storage variant is priced at Rs.34,999 and that for the 8GB RAM /256GB Storage is priced at Rs.39,999.The phone will go on sale on Flipkart from June 26th. It will be available in two colors Midnight Black & Twilight Silver.

Asus 6Z Specifications
The dual sim phone runs on ZenUI based on Android 9.0 Pie. The phone features a 6.4-inch FullHD+ IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Asus 6Z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and Adreno 640 GPU.


The Asus 6Z consists of a dual rear camera setup with 48MP Sony IMX586  Primary Sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, 1.6-micron pixel size, a laser focus module, and a dual led flash. The secondary sensor is a 13MP Wide-Angle Sensor with real-time distortion correction to fix the barrel distortion normally seen in wide-angle cameras. The motorized camera, which the company is calling a Flip Camera, rotates vertically to face the user of the phone.


Asus is also allowing Asus 6Z users to control the amount of rotation, so the users can stop the rotation midway to take photos at interesting angles. With the help of this motorized camera setup, the phone can take great Panorama Shots. The company has also added fall-protection for the camera module, which will automatically retract the camera to its base position if the phone detects sudden movement - such as free fall.

The phone is powered by a whopping 5000mAh Battery and support for Quick Charge 4.0. It also supports reverse charging up to 10W over a USB Type-C cable. There is also a 'Smart Key', which can be used to call the Google Assistant, or, set up for shortcuts such as Do Not Disturb, Sound Profile, Auto Rotate, etc. India-specific customizations include call recording, Twin Apps, Outdoor Mode, Mobile Manager, FM radio, and Applock via Face and Fingerprint.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dimensions of the new Asus phone are 159.1x75.11x8.1-9.1mm and it weighs 190 grams.
