Royole Flexpai :-World's First Foldable Smartphone


Royole a Chinese company that is five years old had brought this world's first folding smartphone it was showcased at CES 2019. The smartphone is basically a tablet which when folded turns into a standard smartphone. So in this article let's take a look at the Price and Specifications of Royole Flexpai the world's first foldable smartphone.

Royole FlexPai Features & Specifications

The phone is based on the company's own flexible AMOLED display technology and the phone officially launched October last year in China. Now, Royole plans to bring the FlexPai to the US market by end of March


The Display on the Royole Flexpai Folds on the outwards when the phone is unfolded it is a 7.8 inch AMOLED Display sized tablet. Royole claims that the display has been designed to withstand bending over 200,000 times.

The phone has a dual camera setup with 16MP+24MP Combination both facing forward. To take a selfie, the FlexPai needs to be in tablet mode and if you want to take a regular photo, you need to fold it, so the camera faces the back. The power button of the phone comes integrated with the fingerprint scanner and volume controls.


The Flexpai basically has two halves with a hinge in the middle. One side houses the electronics while the other has a massive 4000mAh Battery. In Terms of Specifications it very powerful and it is the first phone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with two Storage variants one with the 6GB RAM & 128GB of Storage and another one with 8GB of RAM & 256GB of Storage. The Phone runs on Android 9 Pie with a custom Water OS skin. The phone has a USB Type-C port, a dual-SIM slot with the option to expand the internal storage


Royole Flexpai Price & Availability 

The Royole Flexpai will start shipping in the US and other countries from March at a starting price of $1600(roughly Rs.1,12,000) which is quite expensive but then it is one of its kind of a phone. Royole Flexpai could also hit the Indian Markets Very soon
