Oneplus unveiled a new premium variant of the Oneplus 6T in partnership with F1 car maker McLaren.The phone has some unique features like 10GB of RAM so let's take a look at the price, specifications for the Oneplus 6T McLaren Edition

The price in India for Oneplus 6T McLaren Edition is set at Rs.50,999 for the lone 10GB RAM / 256 GB Storage Variant. The phone will go on Sale through Amazon and Oneplus Online Store from 15th December. It will also be available for offline purchase from OnePlus exclusive offline stores in key cities.

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition comes with a carbon fiber pattern beneath the glass of the rear panel, and its otherwise black-colored body features a daub of the signature McLaren Papaya Orange color on the bottom edge. The Warp Charge 30 unit that ships with the smartphone comes with a braided Papaya Orange cable as well. The 30 in the name signifies the up to 30W fast charging capabilities, said to offer a day's worth of power in 20 minutes. The fast charging on the regular OnePlus 6T variants is up to 20W (5V/ 4A).

 Finally, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition box contains a McLaren logo – called Speedmark – made out of McLaren designed F1 AA-grade carbon fiber, which is said to be the same material used in the McLaren MCL33 2018 Formula 1 car. OnePlus in a statement said that over six Formula 1 cars' worth of carbon fiber was used to create the Speedmark logos that OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition buyers will receive.

 Apart from the presence of 10GB of RAM and the Warp Charge 30 unit, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is otherwise identical to the regular variant in terms of specifications. The Dual Sim Oneplus 6T McLaren Edition runs on Android Pie 9.0 out of the box. It sports a 6.41 inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The display has a water drop style notch and support for sRGB DCI-P3 color gamuts. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 with a peak brightness of 600 nits. The Oneplus 6T McLaren Edition is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc under the hood coupled with 10GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

Oneplus 6T McLaren Edition has a dual rear camera setup consisting of 16MP primary Sony IMX519 Sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 and 1.22-micron pixel size, paired with a 20MP secondary Sony IMX376 sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 and 1-micron pixel size. It can shoot 4K videos at 60fps and can also record Super slow motion videos. The camera setup has OIS and EIS both for sable videos and photos.

 The Oneplus 6T comes with either 128GB  or 256GB of internal storage not expandable via SD card.Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port. The company is touting the presence of Dirac HD Sound and Dirac Power Sound support.
