Samsung today announced the new A9(2018) with quad camera setup making it the first phone with four rear cameras. The phone has many other highlights like infinity display so let's have a look at the price and specifications of Samsung Galaxy A9(2018).

The Price for Samsung Galaxy A9(2018) GB is set at Rs.36,900  for 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage variant. The Phone is also available in an 8GB RAM &128GB Storage Variant at
 Rs.39,990.There is an HDFC bank cashback offer for HDFC Credit and debit card users. 

 The Phone will be made available for pre-booking from November 20 on Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm. It will be made available in Bubblegum Pink, Caviar Black, and Lemonade Blue color variants

 Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and features a 6.3-inch fullHD+ Infinity Display with an 18:5:9 aspect ratio and Super AMOLED Panel. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz.This coupled with either 6GB or 8GB RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy A9(2018) sports a Quad Camera Setup at the back. It has a 24MP primary featuring a f/1.7 aperture, a 10MP telephoto lens featuring a 2X Optical Zoom and a f/2.4 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 120-degree lens and f/2.4 aperture and finally a 5MP Depth Sensor with f/2.2 aperture. In Low Light, the camera setup uses pixel binning. On the Front, it has a 24 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. It features a Face Unlock and Fingerprint Sensor at the back

 The Galaxy A9 (2018) bears 128GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and an RGB light sensor. It's powered by a 3,800mAh battery, complete with fast charging.


My Verdict

The phone has got all the things that you need for a perfect photo. The phone will offer good performance with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Soc under the hood. The display is one of the best in the segment. The phone comes with a class leading camera setup that captures one of the best images. Overall it is a good package if you are looking for one of the best cameras at a good price.
