 What is Google Search in Technical Terms?
Google search is actually a Search engine that goes through almost every web page on the internet and provides you with results that are relevant to your search query.It is basically just like a phone directory of the web where you can find answer to literally everything.

 How does Google Search Work?
As mentioned earlier Google search is Search engine so it can search for anything.
Google search scans the entire web using an algorithm called as Web Crawler or Spider. Basically web crawler is a program that will go through each and every website that is on the internet on a regular basis and it will collect information from all those websites.After it collects the information or the data from the website it will arrange all of this information in the form of a Index which is called Google Search Index.So now for example if you search"Height of Eiffel Tower" what google will do is it will search in its Search Index to find results that has the keywords from your search query so in this case it will search which web page or website from the Index has the Keyword"Height of Eiffel Tower".After it finds all the web pages that contain these words it will then look for Relevancy of the page,Reliability of the page,Density of the words on the web page ,and various other factors like Domain Authority,Page Authority,No.of Pages Linking to this page,Title of the page,Meta Description of the page,Age of the Website and after going through all of this Google will rank pages using these Ranking Algorithm and will present it in front of us in the form of Search Results in this way we will get the most accurate answer to our query.For google to be up to date with the information it will regularly visit all website using web crawlers to get you with the latest results.Now  a days Google optimizes its search results based on your personal preference For ex.If you search for the word"Apple"Google will personalize the search result for you considering either you are searching for Apple the Fruit or the Mobile Company Apple and will rank results accordingly.All of these complex things happen in a short period of 139 ms or even less than that.Google Search these days is also powered by Artificial Intelligence which will learn more and more according to your habits and interests to give a personalized search result.Google also keeps on updating the Web Crawler Algorithm so that website owners like me cannot crack it using a shortcut or optimizing easily unless my content is very good.
