Smartphone+Smartwatch :- Dope Tech Explained


We have been using smartwatches & smartphones for many years. But how about a combination of both i.e. a complete smartphone on your wrist. This is made possible thanks to a concept from ZTE Nubia which they call as alpha. So in this article let's get to know the nubia alpha in detail.

So what is the nubia alpha?

 So the Nubia alpha is a Hybrid solution between a smartphone & a smartwatch. The screen of the nubia alpha is bigger than a conventional smartwatch but smaller than a smartphone. It will cater to a different class of people who would wanna carry a smartphone on their wrist. The display is rumored to be a flexible display with the OLED technology. The nubia alpha will have the regular fitness tracking sensors like a pedometer, heart rate monitor. The nubia alpha also has a camera through which you will be able to take photos to make video calls etc. The nubia alpha runs on Android but the version was not specified. The nubia alpha can be charged using a USB cable which has a magnetic cradle to make contact with the magnetic points on the nubia alpha.
 We do not know the exact specifications & possible use cases of the nubia alpha.B ut this is surely a new concept. The Nubia alpha is expected to be available in Q4 2018.
We will have to see when it launches and what possible features or use cases it brings.
