Motorola today launched a new mid ranger smartphone the Moto G6 Plus.The phone is a pro variant of Moto G6 that was launched earlier this year.So let's have a look at how it fares against the other brands with its specifications & price.

 Moto G6 Plus price in India has been set as Rs. 22,499 for the sole 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage variant. It will go on sale via Amazon.in, Moto Hubs, and Motorola's offline retail partners starting today. The smartphone will only come in Indigo Black colour. Launch offers (only available offline) for Paytm Mall customers include Rs. 3,000 cashback for purchases made using the app. Jio users will get cashback of Rs. 4,450 on recharges of Rs. 198 and Rs. 299.
Moto G6 Plus Specifications
The Moto G6 Plus is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that features a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC, paired with Adreno 508 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM.
In the camera department, the Moto G6 Plus is equipped with a 12-megapixel primary sensor featuring 78-degree lens and f/1.7 aperture, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with a 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture. It comes with a 8-megapixel camera with 80-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto G6 Plus comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). The connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack. It has the standard set of sensors. The handset packs a 3,200mAh battery and comes with support for Motorola's TurboPower adaptor. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 159.9x75.5x7.99mm, and weighs 165 grams.
My Verdict
The phone seems over-priced .You can get Snapdragon 636 powered phone for a lot less .
