xiaomi unveiled the new mi band 3 the next version to there smartband lineup .as xiaomi is known for its value for money products..the new mi band 3 sports an capacitive oled display ,support for optional nfc connectivity .the mi band 3 is water resistant upto 5 atm. it is touted to deliver  up to 20 days of battery life on a single charge and it comes in three colour options red,black and blue.
the mi band 3 is compatible with devices running IOS 9.0 and above and Android 4.4 and above .
xiaomi also claims the pedometer is improved .there is also a caller id /reject feature on the display .
the latest band model also includes heart rate sensor and an triaxial acceleration sensor.it also provides sleep monitoring .there is a 110MAH battery.There is bluetooth 4.2 connectivity that makes it highly compatible .nevertheless xiaomi has for the first time brought a nfc version .the mi band 3 weighs around 20 grams including the strap .The pricing as always is quite impressive  i t starts at CNY169(RS.1,800).The nfc version cost a slightly higher at around CNY 199(RS.2,100)
