MI 8 LAUNCHED IN CHINA:-THE AFFORDABLE BEAST 
XIAOMI IN AN EVENT ON 31ST MAY 2018 LAUNCHED ITS FLAGSHIP OFFERING THE MI 8.There were rumours about this phone from long time and finally xiaomi launched it .the new MI 8 has a notch upfront as you can see in this picture .which kind of like proves that xiaomi is is the apple of china it also has the same vertical camera layout on the back .the phone also comes in a bunch of new colours like the one in the image the blue one.the phone was launched in shenzhen.The new MI 8 is powered by snapdragon 845 SOC .IT sports a 12 mp dual rear setup,infrared face unlock,and a 20mp front camera.the pricing is very interesting which is set at CNY 2,699 (RS.28,600) FOR 6GB RAM/64GB STORAGE ,CNY2,999(RS.31,600) FOR 6GB RAM/128GB STORAGE VARIANT AND CNY3,699(RS.39,000) FOR 6GBRAM/256GB STORAGE VARIANT.THE NEW MI 8 has a 6.21 inch full-hd+ display,it has support for bluetooth 5.0,NFC.The unique feature is that sports dual band GPS a first of its kind to be present in a smartphone .the MI 8 weighs around 175gm .on the battery front it has a 34000MAH battery.the phone supports quick charge 3.0.xiaomi also unveiled its take on apple animoji 3D ,calling them Mi meng which will not only imitate facial expression but will also try to copy your voice .
overall the MI 8 is a good package considering its pricing .we will have to see wheather xiaomi launches it in india
